Baby carrots

Deep frozen cut baby carrots are prepared from natural developed carrots complying with the characteristics of the species:

> Daucus carota L.

The cut baby carrots are presented in different sizes cut on a uniform length between 30 and 50 mm:

• Cut baby carrots 6/14 from 6 to 14 mm.
• Cut baby carrots 14/18 from 14 to 18 mm.

• Whole baby carrots 6/14 from 6 to 14 mm.
• Whole baby carrots 14/18 from 14 to 18 mm.
• Whole baby carrots 6/18 from 6 to 18 mm.

80 % in number of the carrots is of the declared calibre. The diameter of a carrot is defined as the smallest diameter measured with a vernier calliper where the carrot has its largest thickness.
